We research local suppliers and verify their business credentials so you can make an informed choice.
You pay them directly for the work itself. We can stay in the middle of it — chasing dates, confirming times, and ringing them if they don’t appear.
We follow up afterwards and share a completion report with your selected care circle.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of jobs do you take on?
Grass cutting, hedges, gutters, small repairs, flat-pack furniture, shelves, painting touch-ups, help with a phone, tablet or television, a lift to an appointment, or a bit of shopping. If you’re not sure whether something counts, ring and ask — most of the time the answer is yes.
What won't you do?
We don’t do personal care of any kind — no help with washing, dressing, medication or anything of that sort. We don’t do gas, electrical or plumbing work, or anything at height. And we don’t do jobs that really need a builder rather than a handyman, though we’ll point you in the right direction.
Can I book this if I don't live nearby?
Yes, that’s most of what we do. You arrange it with us, we deal with your parent directly about times and access, and we come back to you when it’s finished. You don’t need to be in the country, or even in the same time zone.
Who choses the person, who does the work, and who pays them?
We find them and agree the price with you first. You pay them directly for the work — we never mark up their rate, and we take no payment from them for sending work their way. Our own fee is separate and you’ll always know it before anything starts.
Do you charge a subscription?
You can use us for a single job, or set things up so we’re there when you need us. There’s no obligation to sign up to anything to get one gutter cleared.
Can I trust the person you send?
Every tradesperson we use is a registered business at a confirmed address, carrying their own public liability insurance, and we’ve met or spoken to them ourselves before they go to a customer. Where they hold Garda vetting we’ll tell you; where they don’t, we’ll tell you that too. Nobody pays us to be on our books, so there’s no incentive for us to send you anyone but the right person.
